The top of the league table stays much the same

The QS rankings are much the same as last year – with seven of the Group of Eight in the world top 100, generally within two or three places of where they were last year (except UWA which dropped six spots to 92^nd). Uni Adelaide is just outside the golden century, unchanged at =106^th.

ANU is 31^st in the world (29^th last year), followed by Uni Sydney at 40th (42^nd), Uni Melbourne, 41^st (38^th),  UNSW, 44^th (43^rd), Uni Queensland, 46^th (47^th), Monash U, 55^th (=58^th), UWA, 92^nd  (86^th).

After Uni Adelaide only three other institutions make the second 100, UTS at =133rd (up seven places from last year), Uni Wollongong at 196^th (well up from =212 in ’19) and Uni Newcastle at =197^th (=207^th).
